• Only a few ships moor near the commercial and naval port near the fortress at Porto Pi, which is on the western edge of Palma. The cruise pier is 75-90 minutes walk from the main tourist attractions, but near the entrance to the port you will find a large shopping center.

How to get from Mallorca Cruise Port to the city centre

• On foot. 

If you're up for a stroll, walking along the Paseo Marítimo promenade  from the cruise terminal to the old town of Palma is a great option. The 6-kilometre walk will take you past the marinas and lead you to the tourist area, where you'll find restaurants, museums, attractions, hotels, bars, and shops. 
The journey from the cruise port to the centre of Palma should take around 45-50 minutes on foot. 
However, temperatures can soar up to 35 degrees Celsius during the scorching summer months, making a long walk in such heat quite challenging.

• Taxi. Mallorca cab prices from the cruise port to the beach are fixed at €10 per city trip.

• Public Bus. 

If you're looking for an affordable and hassle-free way to travel from the cruise terminal to Palma's city centre, the EMT bus transport company's line 1 (línea 1 de la EMT) is a great option. 

The route boasts two conveniently located stops: one at the entrance to the Dique del Oeste pier and the other in front of the station building 2. The bus runs frequently, with intervals of approximately 12 minutes on weekdays and 25 minutes on weekends. 

Tickets are priced at a reasonable 1.50-3 euros for travel to the city and 5 euros for a trip to the airport.

• Tourist bus Hop on / Hop off   

Suppose you're looking to explore Palma while enjoying a convenient and flexible mode of transportation. In that case, the hop-on hop-off tourist bus is an excellent choice. With a stop at the cruise port, this bus route takes you to all of the major attractions in Palma. 
The route takes about 90 minutes if you don't get off, and buses run every 20-30 minutes. 
The bus operates daily from 10:00 to 19:00, and tickets cost 20 euros. 
Your ticket is valid for 24 hours, so you can hop on and off at any sightseeing stops. 
The ticket price includes individual headphones and an audio guide in multiple languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Russian, and Catalan).

How to get from the airport to the Palma Majorca port?

Bus Line 1: Palma de Mallorca Airport Cruise Port. The bus connects the airport to major tourist attractions. Depending on the season, the timetable changes slightly. The bus leaves every 15 minutes. Stops at the airport at level zero (arrival) and at level two (departure). The cost of the ticket is 5 euros one way, round trip 8 euros. When you buy a bus ticket at the airport it is valid for 90 minutes and you can make one change (no need to buy a new ticket).

Winter season (from November 1 to April 30):

• The airport - City centre from 6:00 am to 1:10 am.

• City centre - airport from 5:30 am to 1:00 am.

Summer season (May 1 to October 31):

• The airport - City centre from 6:00 am to 1:50 am.

• City centre - airport from 5:30 am to 2:10 am.

Port of Alcudia

The port of Alcudia is located in the north of Mallorca, in a beautiful bay. It is a small commercial port, used for small boats, only to anchor so that tourists can go on excursions along the beautiful northern coast.

Best things to see in Palma

Bellver Castle is located on the top of a hill on the edge of the city. This castle offers stunning views of the city, the port and the yachts. Built in 1309 by King James II in Mallorca, the castle is one of the main tourist attractions of the island. Its distinctive round shape and teeth served as a refuge for the king and nobles who escaped the plague in 1395 and after 1717 were used as a military prison. Today, the castle is open to tourists. It also houses the Palma Municipal Museum and the Despuig classic sculpture collection.

Palma's main attractions include La Seu Cathedral and Palau de l'Almudaina Royal Palace. Also nearby are the ancient Moorish baths (Arab baths). Walk back from the palace to the Plaza de España and you may want to walk along the tree-lined Paseo de Born, which many consider the heart of city life.

Dragon's Caves

Popular trips to the caves of the Dragon. This trip is possible with long parking or overnight stay in Palma. It is possible to get there by bus 412, round trip ticket costs 16 euros. The bus stops right at the entrance to the caves. There is usually a lower influx of visitors during the high season, visits at 10am, 4pm and 5pm hours and on weekends. The caves are closed on December 25 and January 1. From the Dragon Caves you can walk (30 minutes) to Hams Caves.

Valldemossa village

Situated in the hills 30 minutes by taxi from Palma, this is the most beautiful city on the island. A great place to go for walks, the village is full of attractive small shops and cafes. The monastery complex is the main attraction of the city and includes a palace, a municipal museum (Museu Municipal de Valldemossa) and a neoclassical church. The complex also includes monasteries with several rooms used for exhibitions, one of which contains memorabilia of musician Frederic Chopin and writer George Sand. They spent the winter there in 1838. The old town is surrounded by thousands of years of walls and agricultural terraces.

The port of Soller

The city of Saurier has long been a popular summer destination for writers and artists who are attracted by the tranquility and lifestyle of this green valley. A popular excursion is by old tram and train. A horseshoe-shaped town surrounded by the Tramuntana Mountains combines the best of both worlds - a magnificent view of the mountains and the sea. From the cruise port you can take bus number 1 to Placa Espanya and from there you can take bus 211 from the bus station underground to the town of Soller. Ticket 2.30 euro per line. You can take an antique tram ride in Soller. 

Market

There is a seafood market on the palm tree, fresh seafood, snacks, all at about 2-3 euros apiece. And then there's wine to drink. A glass of wine for 4 euros. There are similar markets in Madrid and Barcelona.
