Old Town and History

Santa Catalina is a historic district of Palma that originally was a fishing village. It is located on a hill and borders the neighborhoods of Son Espanyolet and Son Armadams. Despite active development and modernization, the area has retained the atmosphere of the narrow streets of one of the oldest cities in the world, Palma. The history of the district begins with the settlement of El Jonquet, named after the reed thickets. Initially, fishermen and craftsmen associated with the sea trade lived in this area. In the late 19th - early 20th century, the area was enriched with modernist buildings, such as the " Mar i Terra" theater.

  • Brooklyn Club: One of the most famous nightclubs in Mallorca. The parties here are just as they were meant to be many years ago when electronic music burst into club life. Yes!
