What is Playa de Muro 

The length of Playa de Muro is 6 km. The width of the beach is 25m – 40m. The snow-white sand is so fine-grained that it creaks underfoot. You will never want to get out of the sea. Its turquoise-azure colour with absolute transparency and a comfortable temperature for swimming makes you come back here again and again.

Playa de Muro is located between the towns of Port de Alcudia on the west and Can Picafort on the east. Famous tourist towns like Sa Pobla, Pollenca, Muro and Port de Pollenca are also near the beach.

The Playa de Muro beach is divided into four main parts. 

Platja d'Alcudia	It's a long section of the beach that originates from the town of Port de Alcudia and extends east for 3 km.	Primarily the guests of the hotels in Alcudia and Puerto de Alcudia go here. It's a beautiful, smooth beach with comfortable sunbeds and fantastic scenery. The sand is fine and white. Es Comú de Muro	The beach section is 1.5 km long.	It is a quiet beach. It is within the area of Parc Natural de S'Albufera Nature Reserve. However, pristine nature, quiet rest, the dunes along the beach and, of course, the stunning sea compensate for this. Suitable for romantic trips and retirees.
Es Cappellans	The last section of the famous Playa de Muro is along the town of Can Picafort.	It is one of the most recognizable resorts in Mallorca.
